A comprehensive out patient service for general Neurology is offered at a number of localities in Cornwall from Bodmin to Penzance, as well as Specialist clinics in Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy and Botulinum Toxin for movement disorders.
Specialist Nurses in Multiple Sclerosis and Epilepsy provide support for patients in primary and secondary care.
In patient facilities within RCHT on Polgooth ward care for all acute Neurological conditions, as well as those patients with rehabilitation needs.
The Neurophysiology department provide diagnostic adult and Paediatric EEG, Telemetry and peripheral nerve and muscle studies.
We have an active research unit, with studies ongoing in Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy and MND, and we have cooperative links with national centres.
