RCHT Pre-Induction Reading

Essential reading for new staff joining RCHT

Please click here to view the RCHT Induction Reading|

We hope you are looking forward to starting your new role in RCHT.  In your recruitment pack, you will have been directed to this weblink in order for you to access and read a number of leaflets which form part of our mandatory and essential training and preparation.  This should be done before you start at RCHT on day one of your corporate induction.  To help us to check that you have completed your essential reading, please print off the form at the end of the series of booklets, sign it, and bring it with you to day one of your corporate induction.

This series of booklets and pamphlets contain up to date information about how we expect our staff to behave, perform and undertake their duties.  We hope you will find it helpful, and in many cases there are contact details for subject specialists, to whom you can turn if you have any questions or issues with the materials you are reading.  Additionally, if you have any problems in accessing the reading series, please call our Employee Support Team on 01872 255148.

Thank you for complying with this request, and we would like to welcome you once again to RCHT.

"A very warm welcome to you as you commence your new role in the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.  We are a large organisation, with a broad and complex mixture of staff.  Every single one of you is important and has a vital role to play in the delivery of excellent care to our patients - no matter whether on the front line, or working behind the scenes in one of our support areas. In keeping with the values of our Trust I’d like you to know that we are committed to supporting you through on going education, training and development. This begins with your induction, and I know that this short package of essential reading will help you on this journey.  Welcome to RCHT and I greatly look forward to meeting you on your first day."
